Personalized health education and a trusted providerready before you need them, there the moment you do.

WeGotYou is a one-on-one health education program delivered by two specialized nurse practitioners who personally work with each and every teen in the program.

Every month, your teen meets privately with each provider to move through a personalized health education curriculum — age-appropriate topics that revolve around mental and reproductive health.

If one of these sessions surfaces a medical need, a provider is already in place to help.

What's Included
in Your Membership

One membership. a real curriculum. medical care when it’s needed.

  • Your teen meets privately with a provider each month for a one-on-one health education session. They guide the conversation - moving through topics at their own pace, asking what they wouldn’t ask in a group or a rushed annual physical.

  • When a curriculum session surfaces a medical need - ADHD, birth control, acne, anxiety, menstrual concerns - their provider is already the person to help. No referral, no starting over. Members have priority access to a provider when questions or concerns arise.

  • The WeGotYou curriculum covers the full landscape of adolescent health - organized by developmental stage and updated seasonally. Topics include mental health, reproductive health, relationships, substance use, sleep, academic stress, body changes and more. Every topic is teen-friendly, conversational, and designed to be actually engaging.

  • Parents receive a monthly news letter with the topic their teen is exploring that month, suggested conversation starters, and practiclal guidance. You set the curriculum boundaries at onboarding - any topic can be swapped or skipped, no explanation needed. Your teen’s private sessions stay private, the newsletter keeps you informed and engaged without putting them on the spot.

Onboarding & Curriculum Overview

We start by getting to know your teen and family — their strengths, their schedule, their health history, and what matters most to you. Your teen is enrolled in an age-appropriate 12-month curriculum designed by Shayna and Samantha specifically for their stage of adolescence. If any topic isn't right for your family, just let us know — everything else is handled.

Start the Monthly Education Series

Every month, your teen has a private 30-minute session with Shayna or Samantha — moving through their personalized curriculum one conversation at a time. Whether it's 7th grade or college freshman year, the topics are age-appropriate, teen-directed, and designed for the questions they'd never ask in a classroom or group setting. 100% virtual, evenings and weekends, built around their life.

Schedule Medical Visits as Needed

Because the relationship and trust are already there, teens feel comfortable bringing up what's really going on. When a conversation surfaces something that needs medical attention — whether it's attention concerns, menstrual health, acne, or anything in between — Shayna or Samantha are already the right people to help. No referral, no starting over.

Your Teen Grows With the Program

As the months continue, the curriculum evolves with your teen — moving through developmental stages, seasonal topics and the questions that emerge as they grow. The relationship deepens, the conversations get richer, and the provider who started with them at 12 is still the one they trust at 17.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • WeGotYou is a one-on-one health education and medical care program for teens ages 13-21, delivered personally by Shayna Dahan, CPNP and Samantha Kesten, WHNP. Your teen is paired with each provider who delivers a private curriculum-guided health education program each month - and who provides real medical care when it’s needed. Think of it like a tutor, but for you teen’s health.

  • WeGotYou is designed for high school and college-aged teens and young adults (13-21 years).

  • Most health education for teens is group-based, generic, and awkward. Most medical care is reactive - you wait until there’s a problem, then start with a stranger. WeGotYou combines private one-on-one health education with real medical care, delivered by a provider who already knows your teen. When ADHD, birth control, anxiety, or acne comes up, their provider is already the right person to help.

  • A Nurse Practitioner is a licensed medical provider who can diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications when appropriate.

We have providers who are trained to care for both the medical and mental health needs of adolescents, ensuring a well-rounded approach to your child’s care.

  • A Pediatric Mental Health Specialist (PMHS) is a clinician with advanced training in identifying, assessing, and supporting mental health needs in children and adolescents.

PMHS-certified providers have specialized education and clinical experience focused on pediatric mental health, enabling them to recognize early warning signs and provide developmentally appropriate care.

You can learn more about the PMHS role and certification here:https://www.pncb.org/pmhs-role

  • WeGotYou is a cash-based, direct-pay service.

If you have out-of-network benefits or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA/HSA), you may be able to submit for reimbursement. We can provide documentation (such as an Explanation of Benefits) to support this.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your eligibility for reimbursement.

  • No. WeGotYou is not a replacement for your child’s primary care provider.

Your teen should continue routine care, checkups, and ongoing medical management with their PCP. WeGotYou provides the health education layer and specialist medical care - mental & behavioral health and reproductive health - that most PCPs don’t have the time or scope or deliver.

  • If your child requires in-person evaluation or care, we will guide you to the appropriate local resources.

WeGotYou is designed to provide ongoing support and early intervention, while helping families navigate next steps when higher levels of care are needed.

  • If your child is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room or call emergency services right away.

WeGotYou is a preventive service and is not designed to manage emergencies.

  • If your child is currently under the care of a mental health provider, we encourage you to contact us to discuss whether WeGotYou is the right fit.

In most cases, splitting mental health care between multiple providers is not recommended, as it can disrupt continuity and make it harder to provide consistent, effective support. Our priority is always what’s best for your child’s care.

If your child is well-established with their current provider, it is often best to continue that relationship.

However, you are welcome to join WeGotYou for reproductive health care  monitoring & visits, depending on your needs.

  • Parent involvement is an important part of care, especially for younger teens. At the same time, we also create space for your child to speak openly with their provider. We’ll work with your family to find the right balance based on age, comfort, and clinical needs.

  • Yes. As licensed medical providers, Nurse Practitioners can evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications when appropriate.

Any decision around medication is made thoughtfully and in collaboration with the family.

  • All visits are conducted virtually. You’ll just need a phone, tablet, or computer with internet access and a private space for your child to talk comfortably. No application download is required.  You will receive a text or e-mail with a link to join your visit.

  • Yes, as long as your child is physically located in a state where our providers are licensed at the time of the visit. We can help you confirm eligibility.

  • We aim to offer timely access to care, often with availability sooner than traditional in-person services.

  • Yes. We offer flexible scheduling, with clear policies around cancellations and rescheduling that will be shared at signup.

  • Yes. We follow all applicable privacy laws (including HIPAA) to protect your child’s health information.

We also balance confidentiality with safety—if there are concerns about your child’s well-being, we will involve parents or guardians as appropriate.

Additionally, some states grant minors specific rights to confidential care. We always work within the laws of the state where your child is receiving care. We encourage open communication between parents and children whenever possible, while respecting these legal guidelines.
